Editor for Travel Publication

International Travel News (ITN) is seeking a detail-oriented, travel-savvy editor to help produce our monthly magazine by reviewing, editing, and curating user-generated content submitted by readers based on their real-world travel experiences.

Responsibilities

* Review, edit, and fact-check reader-submitted travel articles for clarity, accuracy, tone, and style
* Prepare approved submissions for publication in the monthly print and digital magazine
* Work with contributors to refine drafts when needed, while preserving the writer's voice
* Ensure content aligns with ITN's editorial standards, deadlines, and ethical guidelines
* Assist with basic copyediting, headlines, captions, and layout coordination as needed

Qualifications

* Strong editing and proofreading skills
* Excellent written English and attention to detail
* Passion for travel and storytelling
* Ability to manage deadlines and multiple submissions each month
* Prior editorial, journalism, or publishing experience a plus
